Do you want Obama and the U.S. government to have anything to do with your health care insurance ?
The people of the USA do not want the Government mingling into their lives and dictating how people should be treated medically. God knows they’ve screwed everything else up and/or it’s a scam. In addition, why should WE the hard working people of this country pay for our own health care insurance and also those who don’t have it!!! WE do not want our government interfering with our freedoms. If it is so important for GOVERNMENT to provide health care to the unisured, let them come up with an exclusive plan for those individuals by opening free clinics and hospitals that the GOVERNMENT pays for… like the VA hospitals, but they won’t, because it’s another scam against the people of this country. That’s all the welfare recipients need is free health care and they’d never have to work or do much of anything ever again… I am sick and tired for paying for people that are on the "gravy train"!!! Hey GOVERNMENT, you want to help the American people? Well some of that "STIMULUS BILL" money you squandered away on frivilous pet projects could have been used to directly help the people of this country, but yet another scam pushed through overnight and pulling a fast one on us….800 BILLION DOLLARS taken from the taxpayers without our approval!!! How about the BAIL-OUT money our wonderful government passed out so generously and is now considered a gift!!!! Maybe our the nitwits in our government could of used some of that money towards health care for those who needed it or spent it on gang violence!!! I see people that I never thought I’d see going to soup kitchens and living on the streets!!! It’s very sad. WE TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES!!!! Why doesn’t the GOVERMENT stay out of our lives, we do not want your help anymore. You bet I do. I trust President Obama and the U.S. government tons more than I trust the blood money insurance companies. And the cost of the health care reform for TEN years is no more than the cost of the Iraq & Afghanistan war for one stinking year.
You say you take care of yourself. Well try giving yourself chemo treatments if your insurance co. drops you after a cancer diagnosis. Good luck with that!! : /

PUBLIC OPTION means just that, an OPTION. You’ve been lied to by Republicans that want to stop progress. What did the Republi-cants do for the last 8 years? They’ve only hurt this country with poor decisions and now we when have a President that wants to help the people and do good things and all the Republicans can do is say NO…listen to yourself "the people of the USA do not want the Government mingling into their lives"…HELLO that’s all President Bush did, Patriot Act, Legalize wire tapping, and much more.So don’t confuse OPTION with take-over or "mingling" as you say.
I’m glad you can take of yourself, but when you get sick and your insurance company drops you because they claim it was a pre-existing condition, you will change your mind. When you lose your job and can’t afford to pay for your health insurance and you’re spouse and/or children YOU WILL CHANGE YOUR MIND.
Stop thinking that everyone is as well off as you are, because guess what NOT EVERYONE IS. If you don’t believe in the PUBLIC OPTION then you don’t believe in Medicare. You have to look at the bigger picture and not follow the lies that the Republican party is feeding you. Think about who they’re working for, the BIG CORPORATIONS, not you. That’s a conflict of interest and if you can’t see that, then I don’t know what else to tell you.
So to answer your question, YES I would like there to be an OPTION that will keep the BIG CORPORATIONS honest and not be able to over charge or drop you or not accept you. We live in the best country in the world but have a broken system and instead of helping to fix the problems all the Republi-cants can do is NOTHING, say NO, and go against anything and everything this President tries to do.
So please don’t let them ruin our chance of finally fixing this problem. We need to pass this bill as it will save our country money in the long run.
Remember those Republicans getting paid by the BIG CORPORATIONS already have the best health care, yet they are making the decisions for those who need it most…don’t you see the problem with that? Everyone deserves to have the best health coverage, when it’s your family or friend, you’ll see how important this is.

My wife and I are on Medicare. Qualifying for it after nightmare years at the mercy of private insurers was nirvana. So yes, I’m only too happy to have the government handling my health insurance.
