A Employer Offers Family Health Care Insurance For Sixty Dollars A Week With No Co-pay Or Deductable?
The plan went from twenty dollars a week to sixty dollars per week for a family plan. Is this plan still reasonable considering the cost for heatlth care in the U.S?
It’s a bargain. We pay $100 a week, with a fortune 100 company for my husband’s employer.
Family health coverage ACTUALLY costs around $1200 a month, so your employer is picking up the rest of the tab.

Well, considering I pay $450 per month for my employer’s Blue Cross Blue Shield program for 2 people; with copays of $25 for visit $15 for prescriptions. I would say that your cost is fairly reasonable.

Depends on what you’re getting. My sister is paying $325 just for herself.(per month )

$60 per week is approximately $250 per month, which is actually kind of low for a family. Paying more than that for an individual is unfortunately common in the U.S.

Yes, especially because there is no co-pay or deductible, this is unheard of anymore. I work in a hospital and my cost is $25 per month, but I have co-pays for everything and no drug program. Also, I pay 20% for anything performed at another hospital. My hospital small, and does not do any major surgery so effectively I would owe 20% of a 30k heart bypass etc. Not, cheap!

Very reasonable family rate, no co-pay is a savings of around $180 to $300 per year in office visits alone.
